Working principle and operation flow of film blowing machine

A film blowing machine is a type of equipment used in the plastic manufacturing industry to produce plastic films. This machine is commonly used to create various types of plastic films, including packaging films, agricultural films, and industrial films.

how a film blowing machine works:

Raw Material Feeding: The process starts with the feeding of raw plastic material, usually in the form of plastic pellets or granules, into the film blowing machine.

Melting: The raw plastic material is then melted using heat within the machine. The temperature and the melting process are carefully controlled to ensure the plastic material reaches the desired consistency for film extrusion.

Extrusion: The molten plastic material is then forced through a circular die, forming a tubular structure. Air is typically introduced into the center of the tube to inflate it, stretching the plastic and forming a thin film bubble.

Bubble Cooling and Shaping: As the inflated tube moves upwards, it passes through a series of cooling devices to solidify the plastic film. At this stage, the film's thickness, width, and other properties are carefully controlled and adjusted according to the specific requirements.

Film Winding: Once the plastic film has been formed and cooled, it is then wound onto rolls by a winding unit. The rolls of plastic film can be later used for various applications, such as packaging, printing, or further processing.

Optional Additional Processes: Depending on the specific requirements, the film blowing machine may also include additional processes, such as film treatment (e.g., corona treatment for improved printability), inline printing, or other customization options.

The Blown Film Machine can realize high-efficiency plastic film production. The size of the die head and the number of holes can be adjusted as needed to change the thickness and width of the film. The closed environment is used for production to reduce environmental pollution, and energy-saving technologies such as electromagnetic heaters are used to reduce energy consumption.
